I’m a female and I’m not weak

"Sometimes the issue simply is that their ceiling, is your floor"

World begin inside us. A word so powerful, that it shake cores and yet the species of the other side think we need to be shielded. A word so courageous that even the mountains shook to their feet and yet we are called fragile. A word so graceful that the world mistakes us for China dolls. A word that is a change and yet we are forced to change everything, every time. A word so self-sacrificing that doesn’t look for reason to escape even if the world was ending. A word which brings light yet forced to remain in dark. A word that brings all those together no matter what race, caste or country, they are one and they are women. And today let’s celebrate being a female who don’t have abs or packs  for display of strength, who don’t need weapons for war, who don’t use force but who walks with class rolled up her sleeve and oozes power with allure of elegance.

It’s not about hating the other side of population. It’s about realising that a female isn’t born to be encased in showcase and set out for display. A female is born to set out free and let her spread her wings out in the sky and ace the highest peaks that even she didn’t imagined. The world needs to understand that the description of being sweeter, talking softer or being proper isn’t the only definition for a lady. She is allowed to eat the way she wants, talk obnoxiously loud at times and prefer ripped jeans over dresses and yet she’ll be a lady. The point is, words and habits cannot construct the image of a perfect women, she does it for herself and then it’s up to her whether she prefers pearls and diamonds or dog-tags and sweatshirts. When a women walks in wearing a six-inch heel and bodycon dress, she isn’t a porcelain figure, she is a daughter, a sister, a friend and a mother. A women can be sassy and be caring at the same time, a women can be nasty but sympathize at the same time, a women can spark but hide her demons behind her long lashes at the same time and yet over all this, a woman will always remain a woman. And not-so- surprisingly, the world can’t change her. Haha!

We have to change. Every time how people feel a pain in chest when a girl born, or every time how a man looks for a magazine doll to be his wife, or how every time a girl is pushed back to stay home when a male goes out to party, or how girl is remained that “she is female”, it’s not only about changing the testosterone species, it about changing ourselves, it’s about changing our own mentality about us because once someone wise said that she became everything that was mean to destroy her. So, to all born with XX chromosomes, it’s time for you to finally stop letting the world set standards for you, it’s time for you to realise you are born no different, it's just a change in genes and appearance, it’s time to embrace that you are born a proud female.

I’m a leader, I’m a believer, I’m a loser, I’m a winner, I’m a difference, I’m a change and above all I’m a woman. I wasn’t born to wait for a perfect knight in shining armour, I was born to make my own kingdom and protect myself with my own sword. I may be vulnerable at times but that doesn’t make me weak. I may want to feel the breeze against my hair and lie down under the night sky and graze the million twinkling stars above me or I may at times, want to burn the world in my agony to feel the pain, but I will always remain who I am. Hurt me, degrade me, punish me or perish me but I will always rise to shine like a diamond and be resilient like a falcon. I may be a timid book worm or I may be an outgoing Rockstar, I am not same, I evolve, I change and yet I remain ‘me’.  We all rise from the same dust and we all go back to the same earth, we create the hurdles, the differences, the constraints but it also us who can escalate above all barriers and can make this world a better place. They may be the man but you should not forget that it’s you who got the power.

Love,

Priyal  💖
